Stone Barns Center for Food and Agriculture is a nonprofit farm and education center located in Pocantico Hills, New York, just 30 miles north of midtown Manhattan. We are open to the public Wednesday through Sunday from 10 AM – 5 PM.
Our rich mix of programs provides a path for people of all ages to participate and learn:
For children and families, there are hands-on programs like Egg Collecting and Farm-to-Table cooking classes, school programs that integrate with New York State education curricula, after-school programs, and a summer day camp.
Adult visitors can take part in cooking classes, gardening workshops, and lectures and discussions with noted authors, thought leaders and grassroots organizers.
For farmers, we strive to be a gathering place for the exchange of ideas, methods and practices – from internships and apprenticeships, to our annual Young Farmers Conference.
